A themed bar housed in the old Pierce Street firestation. Four great pool tables, with bucket pockets, 12 euro an hour to play, which allows you to whack the balls around as fast as you like. Beer is reasonable, service great, and Wed - Sat the place turns into a nightclub.
In fact we're on our way now, as the world of the quantitative is in dire need of a good hard...........pint.........

(22.7.03 14:08) Bazza The answer is a definitive yes. But not in the way you think. The tour is fine, but more importantly, they have banquetting suites to let out for parties. Ever heard the expression 'guinness is best the less it has to travel' ? Believe you me mate, it's top notch in there. I'll write the report anyway. M |
