This is the sort of place frequented by girls that tend to close the stable door after sex. Yes, you guessed it. This is the home of the equestrian social set. Undeniably the prettiest people from the South side of Dublin flock (or 'herd', even) here to stand in public and studiously ignore everyone they perceive to be below their level on the food chain. Club 92 is so called as 92 times out of 100 you're going to crash and burn when talking to the fairer sex. Unless of course daddy owns Ulsterbank.........oh wait, the Scots have that, don't they. Eye-candy heaven though....

clubhappy (14.3.04 02:37) Tried 92 with a few friends last weekend . It has to be the most stuck up crowd ive ever had the experience of rubbing shoulders with .Young trendy wannabee high class idiots who cant have fun unless there seeking attention from all corners.Music was appauling for a friday night and the door crew were on a power trip even though we actually got in .David Becks lookalikes everywhere and my boyfriend told me they were quing for the mirror in the mens toilets.....Avoid at all costs . Awful . |

Roisin (29.9.04 16:22) I have to say it makes me laugh that the comments are all mentioning the fact that Club 92 is so Hoi Polloi.. It's nick name is Club Knackery Doo... But on second thoughts that might be because the "Horsy Jet Set" of Eye candy can get to do knackers there...? Hmmm... Sour grapes anyone??? On a positive note, I have always had a great night there, and no NOT from the scoring perspective! The atmosphere is light, (if you have no inverse-snob hang ups) and the people watching can be VERY interesting! On top of that, they play a good range of music, some of which you can, not only, dance to (a rarity nowadays) but can sing along to too!!! It always gets my thumbs up.. As for the men queuing for the toilets... Isn't it about time that they have to line up as the women have always had to do?!?!? |

Amie (15.8.05 15:31) I went to Club 92 on a Sunday night and had a great time. The music (mainly R&B) was great, along with chart hits. I didn't notice anything particular about the crowd, as I was enjoying myself so much. The drinks were a bit expensive, but other than that, a good night. I agree that the doormen think they're 'God' though. If they don't like the look of you, you're not gonna get in. |
