An enlightened name for a pub next to a canal. The canal I refer to is the one marking the official border between South Central Dublin and the suburbs. It also seems that this is as far as certain country folk are willing to venture into Dublin. The Barge seemed to be filled with Culchies. Still, great atmosphere, and the bar stays open to 2:30pm. ginger ale (6.10.03 02:49) hi, just drop by to say u got a great city there. I've been there for a weekend and enjoyed a lot the "temple bar". Sea food is great too. (I've been to Howth). The only thing I did not appreciate very much is the boxing scenes after hours. "Say mate, do u wanna pick a fight ??". Seems kind a national sport powerd by beer.
